Athletics and Activities Update April 16th Posted on April 16, 2018 in Activities, Press Releases Knowledge Bowl Coaches Charles Miller and Jen Daiker 2018 State Team Tina Chen ’19, Caitlin Skahen ’19, Regan Mies, ’18, Gabriel Curnutt ’18 and Alexander Haws ’18 After a fierce fight, our Saint John’s Prep Knowledge Bowl team ended the season as #7 in the state competition in Brainerd. Today’s challenges were tough and ended in a tie breaker battle. We’re so proud of them and their efforts. They had a blast this season! Way to go Johnnies! Math Team Coach Mary Rueter Tina Chen ’19, Emily Huang ’20, and David Feng ’18 have all been invited to be part of the Minnesota State Math Team. They will be participating in the training sessions beginning on April 21st and attempting to earn a spot on the traveling state team. The state team competes in the Regional Mathematics competition at the beginning of June. Congratulations to these outstanding math students! Jazz Band Director Jeff Engholm The Saint John’s Prep Jazz Night has been rescheduled to this Sunday, April 22nd at 5:00 pm at Fishers Club in Avon. There is no cover charge.
