Campus Ministry Director David Fremo Named to Creighton University Honor Society

David Fremo was named to the Alpha Sigma Nu honor society at Creighton University

Saint John’s Preparatory School is proud to congratulate David Fremo for being honored with membership to the Creighton University’s Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. This chapter recognizes students and alumni for their commitment to service, academics, and loyalty. Mr. Fremo was honored during a ceremony at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, February 11.

Mr. Fremo is currently completing graduate work with Creighton University. He will earn a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Creighton this May. He earned a BA from Saint John’s University in 1999 and completed his MA in Theology from Saint John’s School of Theology and Seminary in 2013, focusing on scripture, the Early Church and systematics.
Mr. Fremo is currently is Director of Campus Ministry and teaches theology at Saint John’s Prep. He is also the faculty advisor for student council.

The Creighton Chapter of Alpha Sigma Nu is part of a national organization and seeks to advance the core principles of Jesuit education: scholarship, loyalty and service. Mr. Fremo was nominated for membership to this honor society because of his continued dedication to his students and Catholic education and ministry.

Students are nominated for the honor by Creighton professors when they meet the academic qualifications, and then there is a selection process based on demonstration of loyalty to Jesuit ideals and charisms and service. Less than 1% of the Creighton student population receives this honor.
