Our destination is Morocco!

Join us for this exciting fundraising event when we celebrate Morocco! This entertaining celebration helps raise money for student programs and scholarships. This is a party for parents, grandparents, alumni/ae and friends to support Saint John’s Prep. The evening will include gourmet hors d’oevre stations, a Moroccan tasting menu, live music and energetic live & silent auctions. This exciting event brings together more than 240 people and raisess over $120,000 for Saint John’s Prep.

A Grand Tour of Nations Raffle

Take part in an exciting raffle that could give you the vacation trip of your dreams! The grand prize is a travel voucher valued at $10,000 from Bursch Travel. Saint John’s Prep will pay the taxes for the grand prize winner, so the actual value is $13,333!

We are selling a limited number of tickets – 350 at $100/ticket. To purchase a ticket, call Jill Pauly at 320-363-3112 or visit the main office of Saint John’s Prep. Cash or check only. Ticket issued upon payment. Proceeds benefit Saint John’s Preparatory School.

The winning ticket will be drawn on April 27, 2019 at the A Grand Tour of Nations event. The winner need not be present to win. The prize will be awarded in the form of a travel voucher issued by Bursch Travel, which can be used for alternative travel if desired. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place winning tickets.

The Prep Class of 1969 will celebrate its 50th Anniversary on campus during Reunion Weekend 2019, June 14 – 16, and at a hosted Minneapolis reception the evening of Thursday, June 13.
On Friday Night, June 14 we will join the Monastic Community for Mass at 5:00 p.m, followed by a special celebration dinner and Twin Towers Society induction ceremony with classmates and
faculty. Keynote address will be given by Abbot John Klassen ’67.

Thursday evening June 13 Reception:
From 5:30 – 8 PM, light hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and mineral water will be hosted at a reception for classmates and spouses/significant others in a private penthouse/rooftop setting in Downtown Minneapolis. It’s time to make plans to return to Saint John’s Prep for our All School Reunion 2019. We’re excited to welcome back our alumni/ae and families for this weekend of friendship and fun. Plan to join us June 14-16 in Collegeville.

There are several events listed below and others will be added as we get closer to the event. Please RSVP for meals by June 4. This is very important for our catering partners as we plan our event.

    *This will include the induction ceremony for the Class of 1969. Twin Towers members and their guests are welcome to attend this event. After dinner, the room is reserved for the Class of 1969 for an evening of remembrances and celebrations.
    The Twin Towers Club is for all alumni who graduated 50 years ago or longer. If you graduated before 1969 and have not been a part of the ceremony and received your hat, please contact us!

  • Breakfast is available from 7:00-8:30am in the Refectory. Lunch is available from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Payment can be made with cash or credit card at the door.

 

Planning Support
We are happy to support individual classes as they plan their own events. Space on campus is limited, but we can direct you to great locations in St. Cloud and Central Minnesota. We’ll also help you spread the word about your event. Please contact Jill Pauly if you are planning a gathering for your class.

Housing
We’re proud to offer three recommendations for housing for reunion weekend. A very limited number of rooms are available at the Saint John’s Abbey Guest House, located next to the main Prep building. Call 320-363-2573 for availability.

Saint John’s University Dining and Events has several options available in the SJU residence halls, located on the Collegeville campus. Click here to see rates and room descriptions.

Saint John’s Prep has a room block at the new Residence Inn in Waite Park, MN. This hotel is located near the St. Joseph city limits. Click here to see rates and availability, or call 320-640-0200, make sure to mention you are with the Saint John’s Prep Reunion. The rooms in the room block need to be reserved by May 14, 2019.

The spectacular Art and Nature Camp is a week-long day camp that takes your child outdoors into the natural beauty of the
Saint John’s Prep campus.

Join us for this great camp for young people. This is a very popular camp, register soon! It will fill up!

Our grounds will serve as inspiration for creating scenic and fun projects. Campers will explore the world of art while exploring some of the 2,700 acres of Saint John’s picturesque woods and lakes. Daily art activities include watercolor painting, drawing, printmaking, papermaking, photography, plaster casting and more!

Besides art projects, other adventures include swimming, canoeing and hiking. This is an action-packed camp filled with fun! Lunch each day at the SJU Refectory is included in the price of this camp.

This camp runs from 8:30 a.m.-4:00p.m. each day.
