Head Soccer Coach Dan Stark Named Coach of the Year

Saint John’s Prep is proud to congratulate Middle School Teacher Dan Stark for being named Head Coach of the Year of Section 8A by his peers in the Minnesota High School Soccer Coaches Association.

This year the Saint John’s Prep Johnnies are 10-4-1. They enter the Section 8A tournament this Thursday with a home game on Lake Sagatagan Field.

In 2016, Mr. Stark was named Assistant Coach of the Year for his work with the SJP Baseball Team. He teaches middle school social studies and electives.  In past years, Mr. Stark served the school as Boys’ Golf and Cross Country coach.  He also cofounded and coached the Nordic Ski Team.

Mr. Stark and his wife, Kelly Haws, are the parents of Connor Stark-Haws ’13 and Kevin Stark-Haws ’18. Connor serves as an assistant soccer coach for Saint John’s Prep.   Kevin is a member of the varsity soccer team.
