Mr. Larson teaches middle school pre-algebra, algebra and geometry. He also teaches several electives including coding and 3D printing. Mr. Larson is also the assistant coach of the robotics team.

Mr. Larson is originally from Assam, India but grew up in Argentina. He has his BA degree from Bethel College in Mathematics (1987) and a MA from Bemidji State University (2011) in education w/an emphasis on technology. He began teaching in 1988, eventually traveling to two other countries, Honduras and Cote d’Ivoire, to teach at international schools there. Most recently, he taught in Princeton, MN for 17 years. He began teaching at Saint John’s Prep in 2011. Outside of numbers, he enjoys futbol, drinking tea and thinking about warmer latitudes.

Steve enjoys teaching at Saint John’s Prep because of the students’ and staffs’ equal dedication to scholarship, community and spirit.
