15 Students Receive Honors on the National German Exam Posted on February 26, 2018 in Press Releases, Student News Saint John’s Prep is proud to announce the achievements of our students in the National German Exam. The exam taken yearly by over 20,000 students nationwide and by about 1,000 students from Minnesota. The exam tests the reading and listening components and skills as well as grammatical structures. Students in the 90th percentile and higher will be invited by the University of Minnesota in March to demonstrate their speaking abilities in an interview with university professors. Award winners are determined based on performance compared to other students taking the exam, and gold, silver, bronze, and achievement awards are given.
