2021 Top Ten Graduates Posted on May 20, 2021 in Press Releases, Student News Saint John’s Preparatory School Announces Top Ten 2021 Graduates Saint John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville will hold its 164th commencement ceremony Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Saint John’s Abbey Church, beginning with a 3:00 p.m. with a Baccalaureate Mass, followed by a commencement ceremony. 36 students will receive diplomas this year. 18 of the graduates have earned the International Baccalaureate diploma. The seniors selected Mr. Robert Erickson, a Saint John’s Prep English instructor, to deliver the commencement address. Senior Liam Rogers will give the graduate’s address. Principal Dr. Christine Glomski is proud to name the Top Ten Seniors for the Saint John’s Prep Class of 2021. The top graduates are listed in alphabetical order: Lucy Cheeley is the child of Mickie and Aaron Cheeley of Cold Spring. Lucy will attend the College of the Atlantic in the fall to study human ecology and animal science. Lucy is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Henry Chen is the child of Wan Yi and Li Chun Chen of Sartell. This fall Henry will attend the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities to study mechanical engineering. Henry is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Adrienne Gefre is the child of Katherine and Brian Gefre of Sartell. Adrienne plans to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida to pursue physics and pre-medical studies. Adrienne is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Cole Glomski is the child of Christine and John Glomski of St. Augusta. Cole is enrolling in Boston University’s Questrom School of Business in Boston, Massachusetts. Cole will pursue a degree in finance. Cole is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Irene Jiang is the child of Jin and David Jiang of Sartell. Irene will attend the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Irene is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Alton Mies is the child of Susan and Jeff Mies of Cold Spring. Alton will attend Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Alton plans to study Economics and Neuroscience. Alton is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Max Penzkover is the child of Jennifer and Keith Penzkover of St. Cloud. Max will attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and pursue a degree in geography. Max is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Lucas Pieper-White is the child of Kelly White and Michael Pieper of Mariposa, California. Lucas will attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and study biomedical engineering. Lucas is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Liam Rogers is the child of Sara and Joe Rogers of Avon. Liam will attend Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and pursue a degree in literary arts and history. Liam is graduating with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Valeriya Woodard is the child of Zhanna and Brandyn Woodard of Sartell. Valeriya will attend Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa and is exploring degree options in music and sociology.
