With heartfelt appreciation, we gratefully acknowledge your generosity to support our students.

Thank you.

Thank you for your continued belief in Saint John’s Prep’s mission and the many ways you supported Saint John’s Prep with your gifts of time, talent, and treasure. As we share our 2021 Annual Report, I offer a few thoughts on the 2020-21 school year and the difference so many played in ensuring its success.

“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” Those words, uttered by French theologian, philosopher, physician and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Albert Schwietzer seem apropos to the year that was. The 2020-21 school year challenged all of us, but you accompanied us on the journey.

So many, “lighted the flame within us.” You inspired us with your generosity. As we worked tirelessly to provide a premier educational experience for our students, you stood by us. Eager to help, generous benefactors stepped up to provide the financial support necessary to acquire technology needed to allow for continuous learning as we worked to keep everyone healthy and safe. Alumni, parents, staff, grandparents, friends, and others gave generously to support student scholarships and financial aid during a time some families were faced with tremendously challenging financial realities. Our Prep School community faithfully demonstrated its commitment to our mission and the students of Saint John’s Prep. Our light may have dimmed, but it never went out.

Saint John’s Prep has always been and continues to be a special school, a place that provides students the opportunity to grow into the best version of themselves. The names of those listed in this year’s annual report represent those who remain committed to changing the trajectory of students’ lives by offering their financial support. We are forever grateful for their support. We are a better and stronger school community because of their support.
