Anne Hershberger

ESOL Teacher

Ms. Hershberger is originally from St. Cloud but has pursued a career in international education that has taken her all over the world. She has a BA in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language from St. Cloud State University. She has been working in education for over 15 years as an ESL instructor, student advisor and international program coordinator in Minnesota, Maine, Japan and South Korea. She loves helping students from around the world become lifelong learners and skilled communicators.

This is Ms. Hershberger’s first year at St. John’s Prep and she is thrilled to be a part of its international community. She has a strong desire to motivate and inspire international students to serve, lead and grow. Though new to Prep, it hasn’t taken her long to realize what a uniquely gifted community and campus we have at Prep. In the future, Ms. Hershberger would like to strengthen the ESOL services provided through collaboration and partnerships with the very talented faculty of Saint John’s Prep.

Ms. Hershberger has a delightful 6-year-old daughter named Ava, who enjoys princesses, make-believe and dress up. Ms. Hershberger’s hobbies include: golfing, traveling, reading, exercising, and photography. Having traveled extensively for personal and professional pursuits, her favorite place on the planet is still the family lake home in Northern Minnesota.
