Class of 2023 Commencement Posted on June 2, 2023 in Press Releases, Student News Saint John’s Prep proudly hosted the Baccalaureate Mass and commencement ceremony for the Class of 2023 on May 26 in the Saint John’s Abbey Church. Saint Cloud Diocese Bishop Patrick Neary and Saint John’s Abbey Abbot John Klassen ’67, OSB presided at the Baccalaureate Mass, with Principal Dr. Christine Glomski and Head of School Jon McGee conducting the commencement ceremony. The seniors selected Mr. Lance Nydeen, a Saint John’s Prep History and Social Studies instructor, to deliver the commencement address. Sylva Bohannon ’23 of Saint Joseph gave the senior address. The Class of 2023 is made up of students from the United States, France, China, Korea, Japan, Canada and Nigeria. Our graduating class includes students from 10 Minnesota cities and towns: Cold Spring, Glenwood, Minnetonka, Rockville, Saint Augusta, Saint Cloud, Saint Joseph, Sartell, Waite Park, and White Bear Lake. These outstanding scholars will receive more than a million dollars in scholarships when they head to college in the fall. They are attending schools in the United States, Canada, France, Japan and Scotland.
