In Memoriam – Daniel Conlon, MD ’52 Posted on May 14, 2019 in Obituaries Daniel Casey Conlon, MD ’52 Dan Conlon died May 14th at his home in Richfield, MN surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Kay Kelly Conlon, parents, Frances and Dorothy Conlon, brother Michael Conlon and his wife Mary Ann, and infant sister Therese Mary Conlon and special friend Mary Connelly. He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Borer. Also survived by his children, Colleen (Lionel), Michaela (Andy), Erin, Megan (John), James (Wei), Daniel Casey Conlon, Jr. Eight grandchildren Sian and Tara Halvorsen, Teague and Delaney Marusak, Kathleen, Jane, Gretchen and John Bock. Also survived by his honorary grandchildren, the Borer children, Gregg, Ginny, Bob, Mike, Joe, Dan and a large extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews and cousins. Dr. Dan was a graduate of St. John’s University and U of M Medical School. He spent 40 years serving the inner city community as a Family Practice doctor at the Bloomington Lake Clinic in Minneapolis and Bloomington. He was a life member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. His passions included his family, friends, reading, journaling, writing, wood carving and especially education and teaching. Dan published a book about his experience in Vietnam. Celebration of Dan Conlon’s life is Friday, May 17, Church of St. Joan of Arc at 11 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM.
