In Memoriam – Emmett Mulcare ’49 Posted on September 27, 2023 in Alumni News, Obituaries Emmett Mulcare ’49 Emmett Louis ‘49 age 93, of Crystal, MN, passed away on September 21, 2023, surrounded by family. Emmett attended Saint John’s University and Saint John’s Preparatory School, served in the army, and was a member of Local 653. He worked hard at many jobs over the course of his life, a jack of all trades who showed those who knew him the value of diligence and hard work. He was known to be generous, fun-loving, and gregarious. He never met a stranger and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Above all, he loved his family well. He will be dearly missed, but his family is thankful he is in the arms of Jesus and at peace. Emmett is survived by his wife, Dianne and five children; Timothy, Tarayne (Paul), Patrick (Patty), Mark (Jackie), Jennifer (Mark), daughters-in-law, Kim, Tammy (John). Grandchildren: Seirra, Joseph, Kerri, Nicholas Emmett, Matthew, Kathleen, Meredith, Nicholas Patrick, Ashlynn, Kirstin, Courtney, Connor, Jake, and Mac. As well as 13 great grandchildren and twins on the way. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Thomas and Florence, his sister, Heidi, and his son, Sean. There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.
