MakerSpace to generate new innovations in 3D design, coding and robotics

Hack Space
The Hacklab in the Learning Resource Center

Saint John’s Prep’s New Maker’s Space dubbed the “Hacklab Project”
This fall we’ve opened a new maker’s space in the Learning Resource Center (LRC). Under the leadership of Br. Dan Morgan, the cleverly named “Hacklab Project” will amplify STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning and engagement at Prep.

This space will generate new innovations in a variety of fields for our students. Programming in the space is evolving and will include activities like 3D design and printing, coding and robotics, and social media content creation (i.e. YouTube).

Students have already been busy this semester creating items in the 3-D printer, experimenting with artwork on the Cricut Machine and more!
