Saint John’s Preparatory School Announces Top Ten 2019 Graduates Posted on May 25, 2019 in Press Releases, Student News Congratulations to the Class of 2019! Saint John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville will hold its 162nd commencement ceremony Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Saint John’s Abbey Church, beginning with a 10:00 a.m. with a Baccalaureate Mass, followed by the presentation of diplomas. 39 students will receive diplomas this year. Seniors selected Mr. Eric Yanke, a Saint John’s Prep Chemistry instructor, to deliver the commencement address. Senior Hillel Hinton-Williams will give the senior address. The 2019 Top Ten Seniors for Saint John’s Preparatory School in alphabetical order are: Andrew Cao of Shanghai, China is the son of Guobin Cao and Rongxuan Zheng. Andrew will attend New York University in New York, NY. Tina Chen of Sartell is the daughter of Wanyi Chen and LiChun Chen. She will attend the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Oscar Cheng of Ma Wan, Hong Kong is the son of Man Shun Mansion Cheng and Nhu Thuy Le. He will attend Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. Cindy Deng of Beijing, China is the daughter of Hongjie Li and Qiang Deng. She will attend the University of California in Irvine, CA. Elizabeth Kolb of Saint Cloud is the daughter of Susan and John Kolb. She will attend Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. Reid Nydeen of Saint Joseph is the daughter of Lance and Pam Nydeen. She will attend the College of Saint Benedict. Sichi Onyemeh of Ihiala, Anambra in Nigeria is the son of Uzonna and Ngozi Onyemeh. He will attend Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
