Saint John’s Prep offers a spirited array of varsity and intramural sports. Our programs are inclusive with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Our sports teams give Prep students the opportunity to grow interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Matthew Young is a math teacher at Saint John’s Prep. He primarily teaches students in grades 9-12.
Mr. Young graduated from Saint John’s University with a degree in mathematics and secondary education. The 2024-25 school year is his 14th year teaching. At Prep, Mr. Young teaches Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Calculus, and Precalculus. He is incredibly excited to be a part of the Prep community! Mr. Young lives in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota with his family. When he is at home he enjoys woodworking, reading, and spending time with his family.
