New Era of Prep theatre Saint John’s Prep theatre Celebrates hadestown: Teen edition Saint John Preparatory School Earns Multiple Honors for Hadestown: Teen Edition Hennepin Arts Spotlight Education 2025–2026 Awards Congratulations to our amazing cast and crew of Hadestown: Teen Edition! They’re receiving spectacular accolades from the Hennepin Arts Spotlight Education program. The production was honored across multiple categories celebrating excellence in musical theatre performance and technical achievement. The production earned Outstanding honors for Overall Technical Production, Overall Performance, Ensemble Vocal Performance, Student Orchestra, and Overall Technical Team. Additional Honorable Mentions were awarded for Ensemble Performance, Ensemble Acting Performance, Ensemble Dance Performance, and Sound Crew. Students were also recognized with a range of Individual Honors. Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role was awarded to Leah Bechtold ‘28 as Eurydice. Honorable Mentions in Leading Roles went to Isaac Miller ‘26 (Hermes), Season Edwards ‘27 (Persephone), Varrsha Chenthuran ‘29 (Fate 3), Teddy Hennen ‘26 (Hades), and Ben Spahn ‘26 (Orpheus). Honorable Mentions in Supporting Roles were awarded to Aksel Hennessy-Newman ‘27 and Cerys John ‘27 for Worker/Ensemble performances. Technical leadership was also celebrated, with Outstanding in Technical Leadership honors awarded to Keira Gray (Sound Designer) and Aquilina Wolf ‘26 (Stage Manager), and an Honorable Mention in Technical Leadership awarded to Ethan Whitehead ’28 (Costume). The production additionally received an Evaluator Shout-Out recognizing Joon Sohn ‘28 and Grace Hofer ‘27. These honors reflect the depth of talent, collaboration, and dedication of Saint John Preparatory School’s student performers, musicians, technicians, and production team.
