Saint John’s Prep Theatre Department is proud to present Disney’s The Little Mermaid March 29-30 and April 3-5 at the Gorecki Family Theatre in the Benedicta Arts Center on the campus of the College of Saint Benedict.
In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.
This production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid feature fantastic costumes, aerial choreography, heartwarming music and charming humor. You won’t want to miss this show that the whole family will enjoy!

A Discovery Day at Saint John’s Prep is a great way for students in grades 5-11 to experience our co-ed school. You are invited to spend the day on campus with a current student and attend our innovative classes, meet our teachers, and be immersed in our community.
Coming to a Discovery Day is also a great way for parents to learn about Variable Tuition, our academic programs, go on a campus tour, learn about the Benedictine tradition, and more!

Grand Tour of Nations is a party for parents, grandparents, alumni and friends to come together and support Saint John’s Prep. Proceeds from Grand Tour provide vital funding for student scholarships and programs. This fundraiser will be held on April 26, 2025 at the Gorecki Center on the campus of the College of Saint Benedict. We are excited to host a spectacular event with a delicious dinner, silent auction, live auction and giving moment. We hope you will join us on this spectacular evening to support our school and students!
This year our gala theme is the beautiful country of Korea! Our guests will explore Korean culture and enjoy Korean food, music and décor!
Thanks to your participation and generosity at the 2024 event, Grand Tour raised over $280,000 for student programs and scholarships! We hope to surpass that amount in 2025!

Our Grand Tour of Nations raffle has a $10,000 cash grand prize! We’ll host the raffle live during our Grand Tour of Nations program on April 26, 2025 at the Gorecki Center on the campus of the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. Saint John’s Preparatory School is proud to celebrate the Class of 2025 at Saint John’s Abbey Church on May 23. The ceremony starts with a 3:00 p.m. Baccalaureate Mass with Saint Cloud Diocese Diocese Bishop Patrick Neary, C.S.C. presiding and Saint John’s Abbey Abbot Douglas Mullin, OSB will concelebrate.

The Class of 2025 selected Biology teacher Sarah Pasela to give the faculty address. Liam Spychala of Albany will give the senior address. The members of the Class of 2025 are from 7 countries and 14 Minnesota cities and towns.
In 2025, students from the following Minnesota cities and towns will graduate from Saint John’s Prep: Albany, Avon, Clearwater, Cold Spring, Melrose, New Brighton, Paynesville, Red Lake, Saint Augusta, Saint Cloud, Saint Joseph, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, and Watkins.
The Class of 2025 is made up of young people from the United States, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Hungary, Nigeria, and Vietnam.

Hear about exciting updates at Prep from the Principal and Head of School, take an exclusive tour of the Abbey Woodshop, relax on the Lake Sagatagan beach, or simply spend the afternoon reminiscing with your classmates.
On Campus Accommodations: On campus housing accommodations can be booked here. All accommodations on the Saint John’s University campus will be in dorm rooms with single beds.
If you are part of the 1975 class reunion, please check the box on the form noting that you are here for the 50th reunion so we can put you next to other members of your class.

Flynntown Apartments: One apartment with four separate bedrooms with single beds and two private bathrooms. Reservations can be made for the full apartment, or for a single room in which case you will be placed with other Alumni Weekend guests who have requested the same option.
Please note, the Saint John’s Abbey Guesthouse is fully booked for the weekend.
Off Campus Accommodations: The Hilton Garden Inn (550 Division St, Waite Park, MN 5638) has set aside a block of rooms at a fixed rate for SJP Alumni Weekend. You can book a room online through this special link or over the phone by calling 320-640-7990. If booking over the phone remember to use the GROUP CODE: 96I so they know that you are part of SJP Alumni Weekend group.
Housing reservations are for the nights of June 20 and June 21. The deadline to book a room at the Hilton Garden Inn is May 20.
Saint John’s Prep will welcome our students, faculty and staff back to campus in August! The first day of school for Saint John’s Prep is August 20, 2025.
We’re currently enrolling students for the upcoming academic year, and our Admission staff are available to connect with you via phone or Zoom to answer questions and offer you a tour of our Middle School, Upper School, residence halls, and our gorgeous campus. The academic year will begin with an opening convocation at the Saint John’s Abbey Church at 8:30am. Abbot Doug Mullin, along with Head of School Jon Mc Gee, and the entire Saint John’s Prep faculty, staff and student community will be in attendance for the ceremony. Principal Dr. Christine Glomski and Student Council President Vivian Fitch ’26 will be among the speakers at this inspirational launch to the new semester.
