Physics Teacher Recognized for Service to Young People Posted on February 15, 2019 in Faculty News, Press Releases Saint John’s Prep is proud to congratulate Physics Teacher Charles Miller for being honored by the National Lutheran Association for Scouting. Mr. Miller is receiving the Lutheran Servant of Youth Adult Recognition for his long-time work as a scout leader, teacher, coach, musician and advisor. The Servant of Youth award shows appreciation for his outstanding leadership and contributions by an adult to the spiritual, social and physical lives of young people. Mr. Miller is a Physics teacher at Saint John’s Prep. He is also a Knowledge Bowl and Tennis coach. He is also a very active leader in BSA of Central Minnesota and serves as Scoutmaster for Troop 9 in Sauk Rapids. He is an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and serves as a Sunday school teacher, musician and church committee member. Congratulations Mr. Miller! Charles and his wife, Jenny, are the proud parents of Katie ’19 and Owen ’21.
