“Severe weather,no joke!” April 16, 2020 Severe Weather Awareness Day with The Science Team April 13th – 17th is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota, and our science team put together a video to prepare our students for the possible dangers in the world of weather. Each day of the week focuses on a different weather safety topic: Monday – Alerts and Warnings Tuesday – Severe Weather, Lightning and Hail Wednesday – Floods Thursday – Tornados Friday – Extreme Heat Tornado Safety in Cars – NOAA We encourage our Saint John’s Prep students and their families to take advantage of Severe Weather Awareness Week to review their emergency procedures and prepare for weather-related hazards.
