Jen Drakkar

Ms. Drakkar is from the Monticello/ Big Lake area, which is located about 30 minutes south of Saint John’s Prep. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees: one in Social Studies, with an emphasis in History and the other in Communication Arts and Literature. Both were earned from St. Cloud State University. She has been teaching since 2008 and joined Saint John’s Prep in the Fall of 2011. Outside of teaching, she coaches swimming, helps with the spring musical, and is an assistant coach in track and field.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and playing video games in a variety of genres, swimming, and running! She has run 2 marathons and continues to run half marathons or less wherever and whenever she can. She has run races in Colorado, Florida, Alaska, and Louisiana with plans to continue running all over!

She enjoys teaching at Saint John’s Prep for many reasons. She says it’s an exciting place, the students are amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the environment both inside and outside of school is incredible. She feels honored to be part of such a strong tradition and excellent school! When people ask her about being at Prep, she immediately describes the beautiful scenery and how much it adds to the incredible atmosphere here at the school.
