Every student takes part in our Fine Arts Program at Saint John’s Prep. Our well-rounded curriculum supports the development of appreciation and passion for fine arts that will last a lifetime.
Saint John’s Prep offers a spirited array of varsity and intramural sports. Our programs are inclusive with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Our sports teams give Prep students the opportunity to grow interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Ms. Gainey is a sixth grade teacher who teaches math and science. She is originally from southern Minnesota and now lives outside of Holdingford. She received her BS in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and a 5-8th grade Science teaching license through the CSB|SJU Education Department. She has been teaching outdoor environmental education to kids for over 20 years and has worked closely with the Prep 6th grade program since it was established.
Ms. Gainey loves being outside and appreciates each season for different reasons. When she isn’t teaching, she loves to read, hike, be on the water, cook, garden, travel, and explore local lakes with her husband and 2 young daughters.
