Saint John’s Preparatory School Announces Top Ten 2022 Graduates

Saint John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville will hold its 165th commencement ceremony Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Saint John’s Abbey Church, beginning with a 3:00 p.m. with a Baccalaureate Mass, followed by a commencement ceremony.  Forty two students will receive diplomas. The seniors selected Mr. Dan Stark, a Saint John’s Prep middle school teacher and varsity soccer coach, to deliver the commencement address. Senior Kayla Okonu will give the senior address.
Principal Dr. Christine Glomski is proud to name the Top Ten Seniors for the Saint John’s Prep Class of 2022. The top graduates are listed in alphabetical order:

Matthew Bolton is the child of Nicole Mercer-Bolton and Aaron Bolton of Sartell. Matthew will attend University of California Los Angeles and major in Biochemistry.

Noelle Buehrer is the child of Michelle and Barth Buehrer of Saint Cloud. Noelle will attend Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa and major in English, Music and Theatre.

Clare Duffy is the child of Megan and Brendan Duffy of Cold Spring. Clare will attend the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. She will major in Political Science.

Annika Fines is the child of Bonnie and Stephen Fines of Saint Cloud. Annika will attend the University of Washington, Seattle in the fall and study Neuroscience.

Sylvia Johnson is the child of Michelle and Krister Johnson of Saint Cloud. Sylvia will attend Georgetown University in Washington, DC and pursue a degree in Foreign Affairs.

Devan Meyer is the child of Lisa Meyer of Saint Cloud. Devan will attend the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He plans to major in Computer Science.

Anson Mies is the child of Susan and Jeff Mies of Cold Spring. Anson will attend Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Anson will study Economics and Finance.

Jingzhi Gigi Pan is the child of Kaini Lin and Zhenyue Pan of Irvine, California. Gigi will attend the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York and study Computer Science.

Elizabeth Pfannenstein is the child of Julie and Steve Pfannenstein of Saint Cloud. Elizabeth will attend Augsburg University in Minneapolis and major in special education.

Logan Richter is the child of Kay and Charles Richter of Cold Spring. Logan will attend University of Dubuque in Dubuque Iowa and major in Aviation.
