September 5, 1940 – September 17, 2023

Lawrence John Blaylock, “Larry” age 83 of Farmington, MN passed away peacefully on September 17, 2023. Larry was born in Minneapolis, MN on September 5, 1940 to Earl and Helen Blaylock. Larry attended Saint John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville, MN, and graduated from Saint John’s University. He worked as a plumber at the family business, Blaylock Plumbing for 40+ years. He was a member of the Orchard Ranger’s Saddle Club for 40+ years.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Barbara, and Mike Blaylock; brother-in-law, Vince Fergason.

He is survived by his significant other, Irene Friendshuh of 30+ years, loving children, Barbie (Jason) Blaylock-Novacinski, and Nate (Susan) Blaylock, and their mother, Helen Riegger; grandchildren, Chelsea, Tawny, Liz, and Davey; siblings, Mary Fergason, Wally (Bonnie), Nancy (Dave) Liebert, Jean (Don) Hockman, David (Karen), Marnie (Marv) Ebensberger, Marcia (Steve) Kwicienski, Dan (Jackie), and Dick (Jeni), and also by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr., Lakeville MN, with a gathering of family and friends starting at 9:00 AM. Interment, All Saints Cemetery, Lakeville. A luncheon will be served after the burial at the Bloomington Event Center, 1114 American Blvd., Bloomington, MN.
