Tyrone “TX” Jones ’72

Tyrone “TX” Jones ’72 of Chicago, Illinois entered eternal life on December 22, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. TX was proud to be a Prep and deeply loved the brothers he gained by being a member of the Saint John’s Prep School community. Always filled with joy and enthusiasm, TX maintained a positive attitude until his death. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, especially his wife Nancy and daughter Rhianna.

A memorial service scheduled for May 23, 2020 has been rescheduled. It will now be August 15 at 2:30 p.m. at Saint John’s in Collegeville, MN. TX wished to make his final resting place the Saint John’s cemetery, where he could forever rest peacefully along Lake Sagatagan.
