Senior Award Recipients for 2024

Prep Announces Leadership, Citizenship, Benedictine Spirit and All-Around Student Honorees

During our commencement ceremony each year, Principal Dr. Glomski and Head of School Jon McGee award several senior awards to individual graduates. The members of the Class of 2024 graduated from Saint John’s Preparatory School on May 24 in the Saint John’s Abbey Church in Collegeville, Minnesota.

The following graduates received the senior awards:

The Leadership Award goes to the senior who has shown leadership in this class during their years at Prep. This year’s recipient is Student Council President Patrick Duffy. Patrick is the son of Megan and Brendon Duffy of Cold Spring. He will attend the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.

The Citizenship Award goes to the senior who has consistently promoted respect for, and the building up of, the Saint John’s Preparatory School community. This year’s recipient is Megan Mahowald. Megan is the daughter of Bob and Marissa Mahowald of Sartell. She will attend Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts next year.

The 2024 All-Around Student Award goes to the senior who is seen as having made the greatest contribution to the Prep School in a variety of ways, academic, extracurricular, social and spiritual. This year’s recipient is  Miranda Louis. Miranda is the daughter of Tina and Lance Louis of Cold Spring. Miranda will attend Dennison University in Grandville, Ohio.

About the Class of 2024
The members of the Class of 2024 are officially alumni of Saint John’s Preparatory School! These scholars are from Brazil, China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Uganda and the United States. They’re also from Cold Spring, Saint Cloud, Saint Joseph, Sartell and Watkins in Minnesota. The 47 members of the Class of 2024 will receive more than two million dollars in scholarships when they head to 28 different colleges and universities  in the fall.  100% of the Class of 2024 have been accepted to a 4-year college or university.
