SJP Students Perform at the State Theatre in the Spotlight Showcase Posted on June 21, 2017 in Activities, Press Releases, Student News Saint John’s Prep Theatre students participate in annual Hennepin Theatre Educational Showcase at the State Theatre in Minneapolis As a Minnesota Spotlight school, Saint John’s Prep Theatre’s spring musical is assessed each year by evaluators from the Hennepin Theatre Trust Educational Spotlight Program. This year’s production of Godspell received overall evaluations of honorable mention with the orchestra, chorus and technical aspects receiving an overall rating of outstanding. In addition to the overall ratings, particularly talented musical theatre students were invited to perform at the State Theatre in Minneapolis on June 13, 2017 joining students from over 80 other Minnesota high schools.
